    Hello,

Looking great! Thank you for sharing, that’s very helpful!

Just one note: the attached image isn’t Scene 10 by itself, but rather all the illustrations with the white accents that I shared so you could compare whether you prefer the white accents or just the line illustrations. Sorry for the confusion!

I haven’t worked on Scene 10 yet, as I wanted to get your approval on Scenes 11–14 first. Since the simplified versions of those illustrations will also appear in Scene 10, I think it makes sense to finalize them first so they’re easier to adjust before moving on to Scene 10.

I like the idea of having the screen as the center of Scene 10.

One thing we should keep in mind is that the illustration in Scene 10 will need to be simplified, since it will later zoom in and reveal more details – similar to what we have with the toddler and whale, or the flying people and their appearance on the screen in the later scenes.

Another thing I was wondering about: if the animation separates the scene by moving elements toward the corners, what would happen to the parts of the illustration that aren’t represented in Scenes 11–14? Would they simply move out of frame? Or could we zoom into the screen and have the rest of the illustration fade away? In that case, the screen should become the first scene after Scene 10.

I’m also still not sure about the positioning of the logos in Scenes 11–14 – it feels a little unbalanced to me. Initially, I imagined them as two separate slides: the first with the logo, followed by the illustrations. But maybe that doesn’t make as much sense.

For Scene 10, I also had an idea to add a few characters who look like MF workers, carrying a box, putting up a ladder, mounting a light, etc. Basically, making things happen “behind the scenes” (not our actual scenes, just in a general sense :D).

Feel free to share your thoughts on any of this – what you think could work and what might not.

To make some sense of all my thoughts and move forward, could you let me know if you’d like to make any changes to Illustrations 11–14?

Once we have those approved, I can move on to Scene 10 based on your instructions.

  • Letter to myself

    Letter to myself

    Hello Kid,

Hope you are doing well. I’m writing to you from the future. Funny, right? Don’t think the letter will be delivered in time. Anyway, it’s your birthday, right?

The things around you, the things that worry you most, they are an important part of your life, but not as important as they seem. In a blink of your left eye (yes, your left eye still blinks more often than the right), in one blink, it all will be gone—you won’t be able to remember what troubled your mind a year ago. But don’t become a skeptical son of a bitch—although that is one way to deal with life, it’s a tough route, and the way back is long and tangled.

Life is a joke all the way. It’s not always a good joke, and sometimes you get it only after years have passed, but you should laugh every time you can, even if it’s just inside. There are places and times when it is socially inappropriate to laugh, so for those occasions laughing inside is the best choice.

Society doesn’t know a thing but acts like it knows every goddamn atom. Bunch of idiots, and that’s an important fact to remember. Don’t argue much. Only when it seems fun and you are surrounded by the idiots you like. An even more important fact to remember—you are part of socium and you are an idiot yourself, a big one—but that shouldn’t concern you. Being an idiot is part of human nature, and there are great idiots you can look at and even be proud to be the same species as them, if you wish. Life is a joke, remember?

Find your passion. Anything. It can be something people think is silly—like collecting every recipe you have ever gotten in your life or being crazy about the Marvel universe (please, don’t)—or it can be something “great” like composing classical music or being an eco-activist with a healthy brain. Either way, don’t let other people dictate what you should like. Don’t let me dictate what you should like. Me especially. I’m your best friend and worst enemy. Most likely, we gotta live together till the end of our life, so it will be great if you can find some peace inside of you.

Remember, you are a great kid, a little bit autistic as far as I can recall, but you have a great ability of noticing things and you deeply care about other people, even if it could look otherwise, and not all people get it. But I get it and I always will. Enjoy your moments the way you like to. Create as much as you can, because even if you hate it a hundred times in the process, there are a few times that make you feel like you are leaving your body and touching something you can’t see or feel when you’re locked inside.

See you in the mirror in 20-something years.

    Always yours,
    You from the future

  • Another shot?

You know that feeling when you are walking through the crowd and you focus on something but nothing in particular somewhere in the discteance and it is dragging you inside. At that moment you like flying.

I never really knew what you suppose to do with all this label that has cut off sign. You never manage to cut it out so it looks pretty and once I tried to rip it off because Malcom said it actually the only right way to do this. So I ended up with the ripped of t shirt and since I have a very limited ability of sewing stuff the tshirt stayed with a hole in it.

  • Give it a break!

I’ve been running in loop from Monday job to Sunday church. Do you think they asked me a question, no way, they didn’t even look at my side, show part of the last bench in the room full light and smile and joy–not for me I guess. I’ve never asked but how can I?

Tell the reader that you always wanna be someone but you don’t know who the fuck you want to be. I always thought that writing is actually suit me well because I’m not much of a talker. There always was a problem, one big problem that I barely could put letters tighter in one word, sentences are even more difficult but I thought to myself ‘man, what’s on the table? 5/7 job? If I’m lucky to get that you know. The best felling I ever had, the passion, I left on the football pitch (real football ) in my younger days, never in my life I could do something that easily and can get enough of it but you know child’s dream that we bury along with first love and junk food because your body can’t handle it well, not anymore’. One other thing was music, oh my friend, music is a such beautiful things, I just can fall in love with a song, literally fall into it, and falling and falling. But being musician is never was tells an option. Maybe that is a fog of the magic and down want to dissaepr, spoil with the knowledge a skills, because music is one thing that keeps me on the surface when nothing does. It is different with reading. Every time I’m reading something I feel like something can be better here, it’s never bring me on the top of the worlds. Maybe I jay already soiled the magic that you might still see, or maybe I just blind to see it.

Whatever, you know, life is a misters for an idiot. I’m eager to be the one but my judgemental head wants me to do something g alll the fucking time. That is probably the real mystery, at tleast for me—what the fuck wrong with Artur’s head that he just can’t enjoy the moment. Is there any part that is missing. That I can’t answer which isn’t a surprise I think. How the person who unable to enjoy something explain that—it is the same as ask bling person who does he see?
